This is a lovely family run hotel and a short walk from Amalfi centre, you can hire scooters at a very reasonable price and buy bus tickets too. The owner Antonio is amazing and will help with anything you need, we literally had the best week and the most amazing suite with the best views. On arrival our room wasn’t ready due to somebody being taken ill, we were offered and alternative room for a night with an amazing upgrade the next day. This is an amazing hotel and situated in a really good spot for everything, we will definitely be back!

Everything! The hotel has the old world charm and yet maintains the cleanliness and upkeep like a modern hotel. The location was a 15mins walk to the port and bus terminal which made evenings quiet and serene! And you wont find a better view than the one you'll get from the terrace! Its magnificent!
The in house restaurant is open only for breakfast- wish it was open for lunch & dinner as well. However the recommendation for the fine dining restaurant right next door was absolutely fantastic!

We had the sea view rooms with balcony. Beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were adequate. Rooms were decent size and decorated in a traditional style. The male manager of the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was good - which he gave us for free. Breakfast staff and cleaners were very friendly. Location was a little far out from Amalfi, around 20 min walk, often in the road as the pavements did not continue unbroken to the town but manageable. Coming back to the hotel from Amalfi, it is all uphill, so not suitable for people who are not too mobile.
I booked and paid for the hotel in advance. But two days before the start date, I was sent multiple emails telling me to pay otherwise my rooms could be cancelled. That was really stressful. I finally called the hotel direct, only to be told to ignore the emails, and our rooms were confirmed.
On the last day, we heard alot of arguing between the staff and management. We wanted to leave our luggage for a while after check out but it was left in the lobby, out in the open and unsecured. It was raining so we stayed in the lobby for a couple of hours after breakfast, relaxing. When our girls needed the toilet, they were told they could not use it for half an hour as the staff were having their breakfast! How can you deny someone from using the toilet! Once our stay was complete, it felt like they could not get us out of the hotel soon enough and we were made to feel unwelcome. Very disappointed.
