The accomodation is quite close to the citycentre of Amalfi (a 15 min walk or 5 min by bus) , there is a beatiful sea view, it's clean and the staff is really nice.
1. The stairs to the room is not ideal with heavy luggage so make sure to book a room on the first floor!
2. The last bus from Amalfi to the accomodation leaves around 10 PM and the taxi's are very expensive, so if you're too tired or uncomfortable to walk back for 15 min when it's dark (which wasn't scary for two women in June because there were tourists walking everywhere) and usually stay out until later, I would recommend an accomodation in or closer to the city centre!

Obviously, the view.
It was also close to the city center.
The bus stopped right in front of the hotel, and it only took about 4 minutes to get to the center.
You can also walk down if you don’t mind—it takes around 20 minutes.
What I didn’t like was that the internet connection was very poor. I also didn’t like the breakfast, and the minibar fridge in the room was not cold.
Most of the staff were unfriendly, especially one older female staff member.
She didn’t even offer to help with the luggage during check-out.
I also didn’t like the key system. You had to exchange your room key for another key at reception. Since the reception wasn’t open 24 hours, when the staff were gone, you still had to go to the reception to get the key.

The view is beautiful from the room and they brought breakfast (10 euros per person, not included) every morning to our room promptly. The female staff were nice. It was also nice to shower with the windows open in the cooler evenings as the view was beautiful.
It was very very hot in the room as the sun beams directly into the room so we had to close to curtains to retain the cool. That counteracted the benefit of the view. The bathroom was extra extra hot.. The heat made it difficult to enjoy to its full potential. The staff had not turned on the AC prior to our mid day arrival so it was 33 degrees Celsius (92 degrees Fahrenheit). The room is very tight for two people so it all feels very overwhelming in combination with the heat. It was also quite a walk from the center city of amalfi, though the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The place overall is outdated.
