The room was great and the staff could not have been nicer .
Honestly , I am not crazy about hotels that do not have someone on site 24/7.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the outside it looks quite unassuming but inside it's a wonderful little oasis in Ravenna. We had a beautiful, comfortable room, there's a great inner courtyard and terrace where you can sit amongst the green to escape the heat, and all the restaurants, sites, bars, cafes etc are within easy walking distance. What really made our stay so special though were the amazing staff. I feel terrible for not catching her name but she was working on the reception desk for most of our stay and went out of her way to recommend restaurants, museums, cafes etc and even noticed in the notes that it was my husband's birthday and made sure he felt special. She was an absolute gem! We would stay again for sure :)

arrival: no warm water, was fixed midday the next day. we were invited for a breakfast. breakfast is not worth it: no proper cofee, and you are way better of in any of the surrounding cafés.
One of the bedrooms only accessible through a shared bathroom.
Hotel unable to provide an invoice at checkout ("you should have contacted booking.com", "you should have provided details much earlier").
booking.com: "A valid invoice for tax purposes can only be issued by the property"
24 hours later: they just move on to the next, leaving customer without an invoice.
