Superb

Great location on beach. Stayed in room facing beach. It had a nice hammock and lounge chair on the varanda. Good restaurant.

Lovely accommodations

We enjoyed the location and the beach. Marita, the owner and staff were very pleasant and the room was lovely. We ate dinner at her restaurant that was very good.

Do not book economy rooms

Good location, hot water, wifi in the room, ar conditioning, clean.

The evaluation and price must be mostly based on the other rooms as previously commented. Our room was pretty basic and not worth the price at all, breakfast was average (eggs not available not due to their fault), some of the staff wasn't so nice. It does have the good points stated, making it acceptable but not more than that. Book one of the other rooms if you are interested in this hotel.

Exceptional

It's hard not to like Casa de Marita. It's right on the beach on the far side of the small town - so it's quiet on the property but easy to walk to everything. It's one of the closest hotels to the ferry (10-min walk). The staff was extremely attentive. Our room was clean (and spacious). Breakfast in the morning was included, and pretty extensive. We had dinner there two nights - both meals we really enjoyed. They helped connect us with a local tour guide agency, so we felt confident trusting the company to book/pay for tours in advance. Bonus: we paid for the jr suite, but were upgraded to the master suite because the hotel was only half booked.

I did extensive research on hotels, and Casa de Marita is by far one of the best in the town. I will say, I think a big difference is beachfront vs inland rooms. When I looked at the reviews, those who had beachfront LOVED their experience, and those who got inland rooms without a view thought the rooms were moderately overpriced for what you get. My suggestion: get the beachfront view. The cost-benefit is worth it for those rooms.

Location is really nice, the setting is also very pleasant and the staff friendly enough

You would think that for over 100$/night you wouldn't have to stand outside the room at the mercy of mosquitos to get lousy wifi.... Room for improvement breakfast wise

The grounds here are just so beautiful. The beach was magic every afternoon. Very nice service and food.

I didn’t like the rooms we were given. It was our honeymoon, I expected more.

Great location, lovely staff good food

Lovely quiet little spot directly on the beach.

location is great, we had a garden room which looked out into the beach with loungers and hammocks outside the room. You can watch iguanas on the beach from outside your room! 😊. Breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh fruit and plenty of choice served in a room with a balcony overlooking the beach. staff were very helpful and helped us organise a trip up the volcano.

Lovely hotel right in the beach We watched the sunset each evening from our deck.

This hotel is so pretty and colorful, run by very nice and helpful staff, and the food was very good.

Probably one of the best spots on the island.

The location is perfect, view from our room was amazing, tapas delicious, staff very friendly and helpful

Internet very slow, rooms can be a bit more modern.

A magical experience!

This is a boutique hotel right on the beach. The location is amazing, very quiet an romantic, full of beautiful art and details. The room was large and comfortable, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The owner, Marita, personally met us with a glass of amazing fresh juice to introduce us to the hotel. Breakfast was good and accommodations were made. I wish we had time to stay more than one night! It's a bit on the expensive side, but was worth every penny!

A top quality destination with friendly personal service you wouldn't find elsewhere.

Great breakfast with mostly farm fresh ingredients. Unique cocktails. Magnificent beach view with sea lions and exotic birds. Great location on the taxi route and walk-able to many attractions.

WiFi was marginal at best most of the time. A small room fridge would have been nice to keep drinks cold in the hot weather.

Great beach hotel

On the beach, very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

My room was across the street, in an older complex. Therefore bigger than the newer rooms directly on the beach. It is not a dislike, it is a „would have liked to know before and had liked to have a choice“
