The absolute picture perfect hotel with the best staff

Isabela Beach House was amazing. I've been to over 25 countries. Stayed in hundreds of hotels. And Isabela Beach House was my absolute favorite. Our room opened right up to the beach. The staff was amazing---from the extremely affable and attentive proprietor to the cleaning staff. Everything and everyone was top-notch. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect.

It's a great place to stay.

We loved our stay here. The location is great. Easy walk into town. The room was very clean and seemed like it was newly built. Very quiet, beds comfortable. Breakfast is on the beach which is great and they accommodated our Vegan diet. It was the same every day we ate there, I wish there would have been a little more variety. They have bikes to rent. They have laundry available. It's a great place to stay.

My stay at the Isabela Beach hotel was wonderful. From the moment I booked my stay, everyone was so helpful- sending information concerning transportation to the island and organizing tours. During my stay, Jaci and the entire staff, especially Wendy and Jorge, were so friendly and ready to help with anything. The location of the hotel was perfect- whether for exploring the island or for spending a relaxing day at Puerto Villamil beach on the lounge chairs right in front of the hotel. It is a couple minutes taxi ride or 10 minutes walk to the pier, where ferries arrive and tours to los Tuneles and other ocean destinations leave, and to Concha de La Perla, a favorite snorkeling spot for locals, tourists and sea lions alike. Likewise, it is only a a short walk to restaurants and tour operators in the town. I can also really recommend the breakfast. It was so fresh, varied and was served right on the beach. I don’t think you can find a more delicious breakfast on the island and it was the perfect, hearty start for all the adventures on Isabela. I hope to be back one day!

This is not just a hotel, this is paradise!

If you’re looking for a nice accommodation in Puerto Villamil - stopp looking and book this one! The Isabela Beach House is the last house right at the beach. in front you have a beautiful sandy beach, and a natural pool surrounded by lava rocks to swim in - and to watch marine iguanas, pelicans, crabs, … The rooms are exceptionally clean and well equipped. We (mom and adult daughter) had a room on the upper floor with a balcony facing the ocean. We slept with doors open the whole time and listened to the waves all night. For an additional $10 you get a very nice and fresh made breakfast served right at the beach. But the best part: everyone here is so friendly and welcoming and helpful and warm. Jaci and Ramon definitely make sure you can enjoy every second of your stay. Thank you again for this relaxing and wonderful week!

We stayed in "the nest" which was not a waterfront room but we still really enjoyed our stay. We did not feel like we needed a beach front room because there were loungers and table and chairs you could use to enjoy the ocean view. The beach was really nice because it has finer sand than most beaches in the Galapagos. Our room was clean, modern and large. A/C worked very well and the bathroom was nicely finished. We had a private balcony where we could sit and watch birds and people in the courtyard. I also really appreciated that they were willing to set up tours for us. We hiked Sierra Negro and went on a snorkeling tour to the tunnels. Both were very well done. I know we paid a bit more than if we went to town to haggle but they picked good guides to go with and it was well worth not having to hassle with separate agency bookings. Overall I would recommend it to anyone going to Isabela.

I would have loved a mini refrigerator in the room but this may not be a practical request between the power usage and it may attract bugs.

Beautiful rooms with a perfect location on the beach. The owners were really kind, had great information and kept checking we were OK. Breakfast was delicious, with great coffee and we loved being able to walk 10 minutes for an early snorkel at Concha de last Perla before the crowds arrived.

Superb

Ramon was an excellent host. Breakfast was served when we wanted it between 7 and 9 right on the edge of the beach. Great views, beach access, and lounging chairs (shaded when needed). Our second floor room had a large private balcony with comfortable chairs. Bicycles and snorkeling gear (including wetsuits) were available for rent on-site and Ramon set up all of the day tours we wanted to take. If we're ever back in the Galapagos, we'll definitely stay here.

Idyllic beachfront stay

Everything. Beach front, elegant, spotlessly clean despite the sand, wonderful staff. Just a wonderful way to see the New Year in.

Its a wooden house and our room had a shared balcony which is fine unless you have ignorant neighbours which we did! Small gripe though in what really is a fabulous place run by lovely people in Jaci and Ramon.

Beautiful location but expected more for the price.

A standard Equadorian hotel breakfast.Set on the beach, how perfect. Coffee was good. The room was huge and beautifully decorated wirh good aircon and a comfy bed. It was cleaned very well every day.

Did not expect to have to pay €10 each extra for breakfast as the room was expensive to begin with. No complimentary coffee or tea was surprising as it’s not easy to get a good coffee in town. The huge mark up on tours offered was obvious so booking in town was the sensible option. The shower pressure was poor for the hotel price. We were there longer than most guests so surprised not to have been given a beach facing room.

The isabela beach house is probably one of the best places in the island.. all the rooms are really accurate to the pictures, they are super clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The owner helped us with info about tours places to eat etc etc. In front of the hotel is a small beach between rocks perfect to practice a little snorkel or swim. I'm definilty coming back if I have the chance

First class hospitality on a chill and relaxed spot.

I cannot say enough good things about Jaci, Ramon, and the Beach House staff. Our beautiful, clean, and spacious room was right on the beach and the delicious breakfast each morning (highly recommended!) was actually on the beach just steps from our room. We booked two excursions through the Beach House before we arrived and once we were on the island, Jaci helped us get set up and made sure we connected with the right guides. She and Ramon are full of hospitality and local knowledge. They truly are first class hosts in one of the more relaxed and chill spots I’ve ever visited. If I ever make it back to Isabela, there is no where else I would stay but with them. Muchas gracias para todos, Jaci and Ramon and your wonderful team!

I can’t find any faults with this property. It’s pretty much perfect.

Nice staff & location

Ramon and Becky are super friendly! They will help you find tours if you need it. They have bikes available to rent for the day. Breakfast on the beach is very nice.

You need to be careful to not leave any open food containers because the ants will find their way to it!

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, decor is beachy and quaint. Hospitality was wonderful!

If you are on the lower level and people are above you it can be noisy. Recommend ocean view balcony room.

Direct at the beach. Nice Stuff, waited for us when we arrived and a late check out was possible.

A bit out of town. And the entrance is a bit hidden behind a parking lot. and the beds are not that comfortable.

Loved the beach and the view, amazing staff, especially Veronica...she is A+ helpful & knowledgeable

Loved the view from the balcony, although we did not realize it would be a shared balcony. The beach was nice and although the room was small it was clean and comfortable. The tables, chairs and lounges that were set out on the back part facing the beach was really really nice touch. Overall it was beautiful! Did not get a chance to try the breakfast but from what we could see, it did look delicious. Veronica was amazing! She met us and made everything during our stay that much more enjoyable! The whole staff very friendly and welcoming...did I mention that Veronica is Amazing!!!

Having a shared balcony with the room next door was something we did not like. Should let you know beforehand that it is shared. No TV or music for a little relaxation or distraction. Grass or vegetation in back of hotel facing beach should be cleaned up.

Beautiful location, but even more wonderful staff!

Beautiful location, delicious breakfast right on the beach, large rooms, and amazing staff. Was greeted as we arrived and given a warm welcome and tasty juice. Loved the provided beach towels and bikes to rent. Staying at the Isabela beach house was a highlight of our week in the Galapagos. Thank you Ramon, Rebecca and Veronica!

Perfect place by the beach to enjoy and relax

Simply fantastic - a happy place where running barefoot is the norm and you never want to leave. Breakfast is at the beach and highly recommended. The crew helps you with simply everything and reall tries to make your time there the perfect stay.
