The staff are fantastic, Frederico and Jorge were very accommodating and even allowed me to access the roof to use my telescope at night. The hotel goes well with the area and is very rustic so I wasn’t expecting a modern interior. Located directly in front of the Mezquita it’s an ideal location if you want to get to know the old city.
I made do with what was available and I just couldn’t find anything particularly bad.

I liked the combination of a traditional building perfectly located in the old town, but with a room which had been suitably modernised.
No doubt this is something which cannot be rectified, but the restaurant being effectively outdoors (although covered) means it is somewhat cold for an early morning breakfast in May.

Super central location for the Mezquita. We were given a room upgrade so our windows were front facing and looked over the entrance to the Mezquita. The room was a good size and the air conditioning worked well. Staff were helpful and they allowed us to leave our bags. The bathroom was good with good water pressure in the shower.
The bed was a standard UK double and for the room, it seemed small. A larger bed would have been great. We also only had 1 long pillow across the entire bed which did not work for us. The breakfast was minimal, croissant, toasted roll, jam, coffee and juice but you could pay for additional items on their menu.
