Location with view of the beach is great. Good location for walking around the historic area and to restaurants and bars.
Top floor rooms with Terrance are nice but the spiral staircase to get up to the room is not easy to navigate. Rooms nice but bathrooms a bit dated and shower above bath narrow.

Melia Maria Pita has a perfect location - next to Playa del Orzan and some 10 min walk to the historic centre. Our duplex suite was spacious, airy and full of natural light. The views were amazing. Also the choice of food at breakfast is broad and diverse.
1. There's no ramp leading to the reception - you either need to lug your suitcases up the stairs or accidentally discoover a side entrance with the lift which is unsigned.
2. The number of parking spaces are insufficient and they can't be reserved for whatever strange reason. We had to park in a public garage 10 min walk from the hotel.
3. Outdoor terrace in our suite wasn't cleaned properly.

Great location. Parking. Great view for the balcony in our room.
Aside from the balcony, room was massively overpriced compared to “normal” prices in the region. Room was small. Bathroom was small. The rooms with balcony’s also have a narrow spiral staircase to access them. Really not suitable for anyone who isn’t reasonably fit and well (it doesn’t clearly highlight this in the booking.com page). Lastly, the door to the room doesn’t lock properly and can easily be forced open.
