Good breakfast in a wonderful restaurant hall , with pleasant staff. Good location below the Old Town and on the fabulous promenade that wraps around the harbour.

This was to be our splash-out stay during a month-long tour of Spain and we paid more than £150 a night, expecting, I suppose, a luxury experience. However, other hotels during our trip were more enjoyable, for approximately half the cost. This is a big old hotel, in need of a refit, who's main attraction is a splendid and busy sports club next door, clearly very popular with local day-visitors. Two of the three pools were closed for repair and the remaining (impressive) pool was roped off for exercise laps. Awkward phone-charging points, no balcony. We paid for out-door parking (there is only valet-parking), and our car was returned absolutely covered in seagull excrement. The valet walked away without helping, even when asked by the lady on Reception, but she saved the day by helping us to clean the windscreen in order that we could drive away, and refunded the parking charge. I assume from this, that the parking is out-sourced.

location is excellent, great views, and walking distance to Maria Pita and harbour. Plenty of restaurants and places to visit within walking distance. Facilities are awesome and bed and rooms are amazing. So quiet and comfy!!!

NH collection is a great hotel in a nice area. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The staff was amazing, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting

the staff is so helpful and polite

The staff were the highlight of our stay. Just wonderful.

The furniture needs a bit of love, it's getting old and beat up. The coffee machine didn't work properly, found the same in the NH hotel in Vigo. DeLonghi machines are not robust enough.

the Olympic size pool is not heated as it was before .

We booked a junior suite with view. This gave us more space for our 4-night stay as there was a comfortable sitting area. There was also a separate area for hanging and storing clothes. The decor was just a little tired in places but all was spotlessly clean. The seawater pool was great and I often had it to myself. Very helpful reception staff, one of whom managed to find a desperately needed dentist appointment

Very poor lighting in the bath/shower area. Difficult to see and use the jacuzzi controls because of poor lighting and positioning. Parking and breakfast expensive.
