The hotel itself was fine as an overall stay. Easy to find, check in and check out were straightforward. The room was quiet and comfortable for the night.
The service in the bar area took a very long time, and there was nobody there when we arrived. I would also say clarifying where the gym is and verifying their amenities are working is the next suggestion I had. I walked over to the building next door to use the hot tub only to find out it was out of order.

Location was good, nice breakfast, friendly staff, spacious
no mini fridge (would have been nice since we were on a road trip)

Receptionist very friendly, good space in bedroom and bathroom.
Lovely restaurant with very good breakfast selection.
Door on first room allocated did not lock and unlock easily so we moved rooms, brilliant.
Lots of noise on corridor during the night with other bedroom doors banging at 12am and 2am, at 3am someone tried to enter our room and I asked them to go away through the door. Whilst no fault of the hotel the other guests banging doors and making noise on corridor meant we had very little sleep. I wonder if other doors faulty so excessive banging, maybe invest in sound absorbing panels in corridor. Unsure why so much movement on corridor during the night .....

Close to town
You book hotel and then find out it’s greater than $100 cheaper. But, by that time you can’t cancel because you lose your money if you cancel. Don’t book ahead of time.
Very expensive hotel. No breakfast included.
