We loved our stay here! We had a few complications around a possible early arrival and some last-minute changes to our booking, and our host went above and beyond to help us. She offered an incredibly kind and flexible solution, which was genuinely useful and made everything so much easier for us. We really appreciated it.
Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very welcoming, with lovely beds and a really good shower. The location is excellent too – just a short walk from the seafront and very close to restaurants.
And the breakfast was marvellous! Lots of excellent local produce, and a special mention has to go to the black pudding – probably the best I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few!
Most of all, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. Our host was exceptionally kind and helpful, as were all the other staff we met. It was simply a wonderful stay, and we would very happily come back.
The only tiny suggestion for improvement would be a few more electrical sockets in the room – particularly useful these days when travelling with various phones, cameras and other gadgets. But that's a very minor point in an otherwise lovely stay.

Great location, host was very friendly and hospitable.
Unfortunately there was a fusty smell from the curtains of smoke, there was rubbish still in the bin upon arrival, there was some dirt behind the kettle, and the shower went hot and cold and between little pressure and a lot of pressure.
