The location was excellent and about breakfast l didn’t take breakfast that’s why I can’t say about it
I think if pay attention towards stairs carpet it’s needed to be cleaned

The staff were all very nice and friendly and helpful. Excellent location, walking distance to beach (zig zag path down the cliff) and restaurants, pier etc. 2 mins walk to bus stop with busses in every direction including late night service. Nice size room with big windows and chairs, lift, etc. big ASDA 2 mins drive away. Cleanliness was good, the cleaners were very thorough and friendly. We got parking on all days on the hotel premises. Quiet location but close to everything.
Very dated, the carpet looked like it was 100 years old, vaccummed but full of stains everywhere, and very rough. There was a drain smell in the bathroom constantly, the cleaners finally left a bottle of febreeze for us in the room for the duration of our stay. It was room 241, the Patrick Swazy one. The mattress was ok. the chairs were also very old. The room was stuffy but fan was provided. The breakfast was usual Toast, eggs, beans, hash brown, bacon sausages, but the quality of ingredients was very poor. We generally like hash browns but didnt like these. it said vegetarian sausages in the menu but never saw those and didnt ask due to poor quality. there was basic cereal and 1 fruit. Just a little bit of updating could make this hotel very pleasant.
