I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had booked a single room for 3 nights at a surprisingly low cost, compared with other hotels on the west coast, and expected to see a tiny room with a narrow bed. However, the room turned out to be spacios, the bed was double and very comfortable, and it even had a little fridge. In the sitting room downstairs the guests can use a microwave, plates, glasses and cutlery - very thoughtful. The host Alan was very friendly and helpful. My room was ready by my arrival at 11 am (check-in time is 2 pm) and Alan handed me the keys straight away. Finally, the hotel is conveniently located between the seafront (6 mins) and the shopping street (8 mins).

We had a pleasant stay, the host were kind and friendly. Location was perfect for us for what was needed. Boscombe beach couple minutes walk, took about 35 minutes to walk to Bournemouth pier. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. May seem outdated but cleanliness is more important. No noise at night, beds very comfortable, room was very big. Tea and coffee plus kettle provided also a refrigerator in room. Overall a grey 2 nights stay, would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Shower curtain but that's my opinion, don't like them anywhere.

Within easy walking distance from the beach.
Lot's of local amenities nearby and the staff are very helpful if you need pointing in the right direction.
The rooms are basic and you will have to sort your own breakfast out.
But it's half the price of other hotels so that is really not a complaint
An excellent place to act as a base camp while you go off and do other things

The staff were amazing! Loved how they gave recommendations and took the time to care for their guests, just like it used to be. Fantastic location and great for parking.
Rough around the edges and in need of a little TLC. Very hot in the upstairs rooms and fan wasn’t enough to cool the room. Recommend using a better plug in cooling system.
