I had a very comfortable time at The Clarendon Hotel. I was first of all impressed with the idyllic location (just a 10 minute walk from Blackheath station), then I enjoyed everything else this place offered: not luxury (that was not what I paid for) but a quiet, friendly, clean and satisfying 3 night stay. The staff is extremely helpful, polite, and affable. My room was all I needed to rest after busy days in the city. It was tidy, spotless, and peaceful. The highlight was surely the breakfast: lots of tasty choices for all sorts of preferences, and it was the first time I even found vegetarian sausages on the menu!
All in all, I recommend The Clarendon Hotel. Thank you!

Lovely establishment, the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in but could use the car park once we registered it with reception which was really helpful. Room was large, clean and quite. The breakfast was fantastic, I'd recommend using it if you can.

Our room was at the front of the building and it was very noisy car alarm going off police sirens going off
