Every member of staff including back room staff were excellent - polite, helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was ok but continental only had one cheese and one meet and no bread rolls. Cooked items such as eggs dried out and should be cooked in small batches

The rooms were very good, clean and and had a good night’s sleep.
We had dinner on out arrival day in a side room which was lovely. The waiting staff were very patient with our needs but need to be more sure about issues with allergies, food itself was very good. Some confusion when paying bill and staff unsure what had been previously arranged and agreed by email what was to be charged as a set menu.
The main restaurant at breakfast time needed some more attention to detail by waiting staff as they were not particularly attentive or quick to clear dirty plates etc.
The seating in this area really needs either deep cleaning or replacing as seats stained and not a good look for the hotel.
Having said that the food itself was all very good, hot, tasty and plentiful.

Location of the property is ideal. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable.
The rooms were very hot, even with the heating off the radiator still put our heat. The breakfast was a little cold, and I had to ask the staff to replace a few missing items, including the coffee machine, mugs, and glasses.

Locations was good for wedding. Spa area nice however didn’t use the facilities
Bedroom was basic (classic room) no mattress protector on bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. Bar area needs life put into it - not welcoming or comfy - one couch that has seen better days. Restaurant food was ok however staff member tried to tell us green veg option was the normal rocket lettuce etc which was quite funny. (Prob never seen a green veg) Breakfast was ok, never any cups, teaspoons on both mornings, had to ask them then they would go and find some or was told first morning that they were all In the dishwasher so would have to wait for a bit. The place wasn’t even Busy for a Friday. Always a queue at the coffee machine though which was in one area and then teas and Joyce’s etc on the bar. Very weird set up. The eggs were as hard as nails and scrambled eggs didn’t look great either. Sausages were basic - my husband said they weren’t very good quality. Average breakfast tbh . For the amount paid I wouldn’t stay again I would save my money and go somewhere else. Needs a good clean - carpets, windows, window sills etc. it’s looks like it’s closing down that’s the feeling you get - very tired
