The location was stunning, and I loved eating breakfast in the orangery. The bar was decently stocked and decently priced. The breakfast was very good with excellent options.
It was a bit annoying to have to request a pool towel from the front desk when there isn't always someone there. We waited nearly 10 minutes to access the pool waiting for someone to return to dispense towels.

The view from my room was superb with Loch Leven and the hills - breakfast was fine but a long way to get it and back to my table.
I was hoping to have a bath but the plug would not close . Just had to have a shower and struggle in and out of the bath with care as I have bad arthritis in my back and some immobility. Also one of the bed room windows would not shut right and making me feel a bit cold one night.
