Great location, lovely rooms majority of staff were excellent especially Linda and evening manageress

Attitude of 1 waitress in restaurant appeared to dislike the fact we hadn’t booked despite it not being busy Put unopened bottle of Prosecco and glasses on table having requested it 3 times. Had to ask for it to be open which was done begrudgingly and bottle left on table not in wine bucket and none poured Starters arrived and same waitress threw cutlery on table and walked away The prawn cocktail was frozen shrimps in puddle of water The smoked salmon was on lettuce past its best Lindi was apologetic and asked if we wanted anything else which didm’t The main course wasn’t much better raw broccoli ,hard potatoes ,overcooked dry chicken and a creamy sauce which was diluted cream which was awful Again Lindi apologised the evening manageress was equally apologetic and tried to remedy the situation We will stay again as everything else was great but possibly not eat there

Window would not stay open, too hot at night! Could have been bigger room
