I have been staying at this hotel whenever I visit JB, and overall, I have always enjoyed the convenience and the pleasant experience here. The hotel has a nice location.
During my recent stay, however, I noticed that the room is starting to look quite worn out and could benefit from some refurbishment. One of the electrical plugs was not working, which was inconvenient, especially when we needed to charge our devices.
The toilet flush also needs some attention. It does not flush properly unless you push the button firmly and in the right way. This is a small issue, but it would be good for the hotel to check and repair it so that guests can use the facilities without any difficulty.

Staff were okay. Breakfast was good, plenty of food to choose from. The room was okay - I guess you get what you pay for.
It felt old. The bathroom was clean, but you could tell it's old. The bottom part of the bathroom door was disintegrating with some bits off, like it's been exposed to dampness. The shower nozzle was difficult to control, the water sprayed everywhere. The sealant for the vanity sink to the marble countertop was visible and you could tell it was not a quality job. Again, I suppose you get what you pay for.
