Beautiful updates to the castle, the guest room rooms, the dining authorities, and the grounds were outstanding.
Transportation from the train station to the castle would be a strong improvement. directions on how to turn on and off the towel warmers. Also some grout areas in the bathroom need attention.

The site is an incredible piece of history
It’s tricky providing luxury accommodation in a building like this it’s well worth the trade off.
air conditioning is hard to install the loft rooms are very hot during a heatwave this may need to be addressed
Nothing really apart from the lack of aircon fit and finish is average

The history and ambience of the castle. The lovely grounds. The dinner and staff were excellent.
The room was very warm and the bed was too soft. The perpetual background piano was annoying.

The kitchen was excellent, but everything else was poor, especially the service and the room cleanliness. I understand there is a new GM so hopefully things will get better, the potential is certainly there, but it needs ivestment.
Room cleanliness very poor, The staff seemed to provide the absolute minium possible.
