We paid for and liked the breakfast. We did a walking tour of some of the city's Roman monuments from the hotel and also were able to buy food nearby.
I did not like being continually asked to check in online. I do not see the purpose of that.

The location is very good! Across a parking lot from the train station and bus terminal. A small grocery store and cafes are also nearby. The Nimes Arena and other Roman ruins were all within walking distance.
Kitchen facilities were good - microwave, stove top and fridge. Well stocked with dishes, utensils and cleaning supplies.
The bathroom was a very good size.
The bed was not comfortable for me. There was a plastic mattress pad that made the bed hot and uncomfortable for sleeping.
The lighting in the sleeping area was too dim.

Extremely good value for money. Basically just a room with kitchenette and bathroom but it included desk, table and chairs. Very well-located opposite the railway station and only 20 mins walk to the historic centre. Good breakfast and access to laundry equipment (both for extra charge). Helpful staff.
There were some misleading communications in advance: said that you could pay on arrival, but did not make clear that reception closed at 9pm and if you had not paid in advance they would not leave keys for you. Consequently when my train was delayed and I arrived after 9pm, I could not get in and had to go to the nearby Ibis for the night..

Convenient for station. Clean and comfortable
We arrived after 9.00 pm when reception was closed and were given codes to enter the building and access the safe box. The first worked fine. The second did not as the number we had been sent was incorrect .
The phone number in the message directed us to voice mail which was not answered. A message left on Booking.com was left unanswered. Eventually we had help from a kind neighbour to phone another number (because our British phone would not connect) and the correct keypad number was given.
All this was stressful.
Little was given by way of apology from the receptionist in the morning beyond “a mistake was made”. Poor customer service.
