Great location high on a hill, with good views around the locality. Room was light and airy, with own balcony and OK facilities (but no kettle). Wonderful breakfast included in price. Helpful staff, who let us have breakfast early to meet our travel arrangements. Ample free parking. Sound of cowbells coming in from nearby fields through our open windows! So was 'in the country'/out of town, which means a car is the best way to get there (I don't think there are any bus services to the hotel).
Didn't have en-suite bathroom - just a washbasin - which seems a little unusual these days... but loos and showers were just down the corridor.

Beautiful views
There was no food or drink available. As hotel was up a steep hill the nearest place open to eat was a 50 minute STEEP walk. This is not explained on booking it even says hotel and restaurant on advertising
