Schöne Aussicht mit gutem Service.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf See und Berge. Feines Frühstück mit Aussicht. Bei Regenwetter ist der Bus dann doch etwas weit weg. Wir stellten unser Programm um und fuhren mit der historischen Sonnenbergbahn hoch zum Hotel. Die fuhr glücklicherweise an "unserem" Wochenende zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr.

Gerne wieder für Entspannungszwecke an Werktagen

Herr Riemann hat persönliche Beziehung aufgebaut und wir haben uns persönlich abgeholt gefühlt. Gemeinsam mit Herrn Riemann war es im Restaurant und beim Einchecken angenehm - sehr gern wieder. Im Haus gibt man sich Mühe. Die Ausstattung ist mit Whirlpool und perfektem Restaurant sowie Bett grandios. Aussicht ist bei jedem Wetter sehr eindrücklich.

Altes Gebäude ist nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand der Geräuschdämmung.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

The setting, the room and the delicious dinner overlooking Lausanne and beyond. Absolutely stunning. We had a corner room with a large balcony with views across.

I only wish we could stay longer than the one night.

Very nice hotel overlooking Lucerne area.

The hotel was very nice and in a beautiful location, although it is not the most convenient for access to the city of Lucerne. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The funicular has limited hours, so we were not able to use it in order to take a bus into the city. The walk from a bus stop to the hotel is up a steep hill, and we had almost constant rain when we were there, so for us (aged 70+), walking to the hotel was not a reasonable choice. Although there was reduced visibility the entire time there, we could not see the mountains, although we believe the views would be spectacular on clear days.

We thought the food and service was very good, although portion sizes were quite small for the price.

- The Restaurant and view from the terrase and restaurant is amazing. 10 plus. - found a nice surprize for dog accomodation, it was great to find some blankets, bowls and carpet for the dogs, awesome- thanks! -i was alowed to enter the room (early checkin) many hours in advance. - thanks!

Photos of the rooms show you have a nice balcony and fancy bath with spa products. I have specifically booked a more expensive room just to have the balcony and view from it as per the photos. There are only two rooms with balcony and when i asked they were somehow already booked by someome else?- strange and disappointed. The bath was kind of outdated and no spa products were present. - price for dog/night a bit high (20 frank) -i know it is Switzerland but...

Very good

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. the staffs are super nice.

Because there were just a few guests, the restaurant was already closed when we arrived at 4.30pm and the bar has also closed soon.

Superb

The view from the window was amazing, the room had a Jacuzzi tub and shower, and the benocle helped us see the farthest reaches of Lucerne. A handwritten personal greeting from the general manager awaited us upon arrival, which was very nice. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Unfortunately, there were no disposable slippers in the room and the breakfast was very poor.

Great stay with nice view and helpful staff

Magnificent view.! Nothing can beat this.this is the reason I choose this hotel. Reception- Alan is very friendly to help us log in WiFi with his phone SMS. Thanks for his help. Reception team are friendly and helpful too. They share me the Visitor card with free riding on bus in zone 10. We just walk/hike along the path from hotel, to Obergutch bus stop. Bus 10 will bring us from Obergutch to Luzern Main station. We save transport fare. And the view along the path from hotel to town is marvellous.you gotta try this. Toilet is big and clean. Good hot water for shower

Room facility is pretty basic. No electric kettle no fridge . .but there is coffee maker and heater.

It has absolutely magnificent views.

You had a communal bathroom and shower, which I wasn’t aware of and was not as comfortable.

Beautiful location and great hotel

Fab location, fab food and super friendly service. Spoiled by the great staff. Room was just big enough!

No ensuite but that might have been the type of room i booked.

Great spot for beautiful views

A short drive from Luzern. Beautiful spot to catch some lake and nature views. The cafe is a great spot for your breakfast or morning coffee. Clean and quiet rooms, and very polite staff. Comfortable parking.

Somewhat expensive for the amenities on offer.

Very good

Very good location, on top of the hill, with a view over Lucerne. Close to the funicular, easy to get to the city. A lot of hiking trails start there, so it's great for a hiking trip. The restaurant is nice, and convenient, with good food.

The biggest problem is that there is no elevator, so to carry the baggages up to the second floor was quite a hassle. The room is small if you have a baby with you, so keep that in mind. Other than that no complaints

Comfy hotel, but noisy during the day.

The view, free parking, clean rooms.

The terrace is noisy, very noisy when people pull the chairs. Also, noise insulation is not good. We could hear either the customers above or the kitchen underneath. The service at the restaurant was not very hygienic. The waiters served dishes with the thumbs in the plate instead of using a serving-napkin. And one of the waiters seemed lost, not knowing where to serve the dish he was carrying.

An excellent hotel in a fabulous location with a warm welcome and lovely facilities

Excellent location with a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps and Lakes from our room and balcony. Very nice, comfortable and well equipped room and en-suite which were kept spotless by housekeeping staff. Excellent breakfast, lunch and evening meals available with service to match. We felt very welcome and well looked after by all members of staff.

We were satisfied with everything.
