Proper comfortable small hotel.Low price,so a smallish room,but otherwise luxury hotel standard.
The room resembles a normal bedroom in a normal house,not a modern art installation or industrial facility! There is a soft new carpet,perfect bed and curtains which keep out the light.There is normal bedroom furniture which allows full unpacking.The TV is small and not fixed to the wall in an aggressive manner.Indeed it could be put out of sight. The extreme weather was no problem thanks to excellent aircon and a fridge.
The bathroom has a normal bath and usable basin, both with working plugs! There is a generous allowance of good towels.
Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold items for the price,and the room was not overcrowded.
The staff were helpful with train/ bus enquiries.
As well as a good lift ,the stairs were exceptionally pleasant,safe,and easy.
Most hotels of twice the price offer less comfort.
The Thermal Hotel, which spoils the view, needs to be demolished.

Nice architecture, spacious room and good location (within walking distance to bus station and colonnades). Staffs are very friendly and the free breakfast is good

Don't expect a luxury hotel, but we had everything for a pleasant week's stay. The receptionist (you can see her on the main page) was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us a kettle and cups on check-in, which we used during our stay. In my opinion, the location was the best in town, equally close to the promenade and the city business center. All this can be reached without going up and down, which is rare for this city.
The room was perfectly clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was functional. The balcony with the wonderful view was great. Overall, the room was simple but very convenient.
The breakfast was adequate with the usual choice of food and tasty cakes.
From the street to the reception, you have to go up about 10 steps, which can be a problem for older persons with luggage.
