Excellent deco and great amenities. The rooms were really spacious and mine had a window on the busy street which was a plus. The customer service from the staff was great. The hotel was well located - just a few metres from Taksim square.
Given the proximity to the street, some nights expecially on weekends might be a bit noisy for some. If it is an issue for you, you may maybe request a room on a higher floor. For me it was not an issue as I enjoy being near to a busy street and observing from my hotel room. It just gives me a feel of the local community.

The reception staff, especially the bellhop (I forgot his name!) They were all really kind, smiley and friendly. It was very clean.
No WiFi in the room, and also design flaws - eg. no space to hang wet bath towels, no coat hooks and only 4 hangers for 2 people. No space for luggage. Breakfast items were a bit poor quality and would be nice to have some choice of teas and coffees, fresh juice
