Sizable room with a comfy bed. Helpfull staff and a very well stocked breakfast
Don't know if it was because of a lack of double glazing but did find there was a lot of outside noise that didn't help me sleep. It was stilll going at 02:00am.

Location is great , right on the river 12 min walk to Tower and 2 min walk to main shopping street .
The hotel is a very grand building with lots of old furniture and quirky bits .
The person who checked us in was really helpful with directions and gave us a map and the person who checked us out was helpful and booked us a taxi .
Bed comfortable .
It’s really needing a major renovation , we couldn’t get the windows open , bathroom very old , with shower curtain , floor was flooded and very slippy .
It’s a shame because they probably don’t have the investment funds that are needed to get this to a sufficient modern standard as it really could be quite a grand hotel .
