The staff is extremely welcoming, helpful and kind. They truly make you feel welcome. The location (beside the T1 tram) is fantastic as this tram will take you to most of the major touristic places on the European side and stops right beside the ferry stop to get to the Asian side. The area is quiet enough, especially in the evening while also packed with restaurants and take-away places. I was on the 4th floor and the room was always very quiet at night The hotel has a small pool, a sauna and a Turkish bath. The hotel's top floor has a lovely large terrace, part of it covered, from where one has a nice view of part of this immense city. We got take-away twice which we ate on this terrace and felt it was a big advantage of the hotel. The breakfast offers lots to choose from and is open from 7:30 to 10:30.
Okay so there were a few minuses. I was there with a friend and we each had our own room giving me an opportunity to compare. She was slightly luckier than me... She could put the air conditioning on and off in her room while it was not working at all in my room. In May temperatures were good but the temperature in my room would get really hot at the end of the day and the only way to cool it down was to open the window when the sun would come down... I mentioned it to the staff, and they even sent someone up to my room and they tried all they could but it was never fixed. My friend had 2 bath robes in her room, there were none in my room even when the cleaner came to change the towels. I am certain I could have asked for one, I just did not need any... but it was just a little strange.

Not wheelchair friendly you have to lift your luggage on stairs to get inside the hotel without any help
Staff impolite . Very poor breakfast served with chipped plates . Nothing international no croissant etc.. poor and bad quality of food!
The lobby is small and disgusting
