It was clean and the whole staff were very helpful

1. Our family particularly went to visit Padre Pio. The hotel did not disappoint. looking around, I can say this is the best hotel to stay if visiting the monastery. there are of course other options (self catering, cheaper etc) which are also around monastery but if you are up for comfort, this place has satisfied all our family requirement. we have 2 kids ages 14 and 10 so we booked a family room. its a good size to fit all 4 of our luggage's since we are from across the world and we are to travel around Italy. The room is clean and anything else you need, they are happy to assist. The pool is also good enough as my husband entertains the boys as they headed back after the mass and I can have as much time sitting solemnly and saying my prayers to the Lord through Padre Pio. 2. just across the hotel (just cross the small road :) ..) is the beautiful entrance of the monastery, its a long pathway lined up with pines where you will see the big cross in the middle. sitting on the hotel veranda at night is so solemn as you look up to the lighted cross of the monastery. 3. Mass schedule is available at the monastery office, they have english options - all you need is to enquire. they will also give you map of the complex. 4. Padre Pio's mortal remains is at the new church - at the underground chapel. I've attended 7:30Am mass. Theres a reception on the same ground where you can offer mass, confessions etc. 5. the old church where Padre Pio used to hold masses and confessions is at the higher ground. on that same area, you can have all the souvenirs blessed. theres a stand by priest most of the day. 5. the hotel itself has restaurant but if you fancy something else, there are number of restaurants up the hill across the old church. worth noting that it is better to carry essentials as this is a small town. theres no big supermarket nearby.

nothing to dislike really. it has everything we need to be comfortable. it is however for a short stay particularly visiting the monastery and Padre Pio.

Great facilities, modern, spacious and great location.

Construction not completed during our stay but that can’t be helped and didn’t inconvenience us.
