Centrally located to the city center very walkable, and close to the waterfront very picturesque
There were no options to upgrade was told all the rooms are the same size which are fairly small for three adults. The twin bed brought in was not of the same quality or comfort as the two in place.
We didn’t have the breakfast there, but there were no coffee pots or any of that type of amenities in the room so we had to leave the hotel each morning for early morning coffee

Despite the rather grand entrance, the room we were given on the 2nd floor was a big disappointment.
The carpet on the floor leading to the room was stained and the paint was scuffed everywhere from the skirting boards, which gave it a grubby feel.
The room (a Deluxe Double) was small, basic (but clean) and in need of refurbishment; the AC unit was very old fashioned and noisy and looked like it was installed decades ago.
We were told we could unpack the car in a temporary parking place in front of the hotel but this was continuously occupied by the same cars - I feel the hotel staff should manage this better.
The hotel description mentions that private parking on site is possible. However, there are only 7 car parking spaces for the entire hotel so you would have to be very lucky to get a space. We phoned an hour before check-in opened but there was no space. Subsequent hotel information said that in case the hotel car park is full, an arrangement is in place with a garage in front of the hotel. It would have been clearer if it was mentioned that this is basically the underground public car park (which was ok).
