The hosts and their families’ warmth, kindness , and hospitality was the highlight. Nikos generously offered to drive us from the beach when we were stranded. The property has plenty of greenery and shade for relaxing away from the unrelenting sun. It is kept pristine like brand new. The breakfast has an abundant selection. The optional homemade dinner is also delicious.
A little remote but doable with the public bus; better with a car rental.

The restaurant onsite was amazing. Home cooked food by the owners with whatever produce they have fresh that day, we ate there twice and it was so tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. I wish we ate there every night. The location is quite close to a nice sandy beach (unsure how busy it gets during the day as we went for sunset). The villas are great size but I believe you would likely need a car to access this property. I would recommend friends to stay here for sure.
There isn’t a pool but this is being extremely picky! There are plenty of great beaches around.

We had a wonderful stay at Scala Apartments. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped.
The breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved enjoying it with the beautiful views from the garden. The location was perfect—close to some fantastic restaurants and beautiful beaches, making it easy to explore the area.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Scala Apartments to anyone visiting the island.
