Breakfast buffet was good value, location was great, staff were attentive and welcoming

There was no shower curtain which made the small bathroom very wet when showering. Everything else was great!

We loved the beautiful apartment complex with brilliant pool to relax by. Never too busy and very handy walk to beach. Our studio was on ground floor and was cleaned with fresh bedding and towels every day. The room was spacious and although not modern fitting like some apartments, it was very comfortable. Beds were very good as was air con. Kitchen area had enough to make breakfasts and lunches. Only one large pot to cook on but thats fine, as we ate out most nights. A pasta dish would have been easy enough to make. The staff were brilliant. The cafe attached did breakfasts and take away coffee. We would definitely come back. Great value for money !

The shower was fine for a quick shower but I used the outdoor shower near pool for washing my hair as the apartment shower was a wet room type set up and kinda soaked the small bathroom. But thats a minor thing compared to the overall loveliness of the place.

The hotel’s location, parking area, and room size were all good. Perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing and best-maintained part of the hotel was the swimming pool. There was plenty of space, with enough sun loungers and umbrellas. The landscaping was beautiful, and the pool was clean and well maintained. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated her polite gesture of apologizing for the behavior of her colleague.

Unfortunately, our stay at Something Else was quite disappointing. First, I would like to clarify an issue regarding the bathroom photos on Booking.com. The bathroom shown in the listing actually belongs to the two Luxury Suites only. We only found this out after arriving and seeing our room, as the bathroom in our room was completely different. When I raised this issue, one of the male staff members responded in a rather inappropriate and unfriendly manner, which made the situation even more unpleasant. However, the lady at reception later came to speak to me, apologized for his attitude, and explained that they had actually provided Booking.com with photos of both bathrooms, but apparently Booking.com had only displayed the Luxury Suite bathroom photo. She said she would contact Booking.com about this. I appreciated the way she handled the situation afterwards. Unfortunately, there were several other issues with the room. The bathroom has no shower screen, curtain or any other partition, so taking a shower leaves the entire bathroom soaking wet. It is very inconvenient and makes using the bathroom quite unpleasant. The mosquito screens on the windows were also very old, torn and visibly dirty. One of the bedside electrical sockets was not working and had simply been covered with tape, while the lamp on the other side was broken. These may seem like small issues individually, but together they made the room feel poorly maintained. With relatively small investments and some basic maintenance, the property could be much more comfortable and attractive for guests. Unfortunately, the breakfast was also quite underwhelming. The variety of breakfast options was limited. The vegetables and fruits were definitely not fresh and looked like they had been sitting there for several days. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay.
