Good location
The bed in 213 was very hard.

The staff as ever were particularly good. Breakfast was very good too. Nice big room was good value.
The lift broke down when we arrived. I had to use the stairs. But the engineer was fixing it when we we there and he got it going promptly.

The perfect location for us as a family member lives on Osbourne Road. We were visiting Northumbria Uni open day
Nothing clean comfortable and welcoming staff

Location
Not the expectations of a 4* hotel, but provided a good source of entertainment.
The floor boards were extremely creaky both in the roo. And corridor. There was heavy foot traffic throughout the night so the floor in the corridor boards kept us awake.
We were also close to the stair door. Due to the heavy foot traffic throughout the night the door kept banging shut. This door needs to have a soft close hinge fitted.
The room was ok but the television aerial was broken, the bathroom wax clean but needs a complete refurbishment.
Yhe lift was out of order. This broke just as we arrived. At one point a young lady was stuck in the lift and it took 40 mins for an engineer to arrive.
Members of staff were being verbally abused by one of the guests.
