Good sized room with tea & coffee. Less than 5 mins walk to town. Huge car park (albeit £5 for an overnight stay but then you get a £3 voucher for the bar). Old fashioned decor but everything worked, so all good! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and everything was clean
The bathroom could do with a refurb, and the bed was far too hard for my back. Breakfast was plentiful (buffet style) but limited fruit/yoghurt/cereal options. The bain maries keeping the cooked breakfast warm were far too hot so the scrambled eggs were more like omelettes! I was quite late though (they only serve until 9.30) so maybe it was fresher earlier

Lovely reception and very friendly receptionist. Bar and restaurant t comfortable and breakfast amazing
Bits if it are a bit run down. It is a very old building and probably difficult to maintain. Bedrooms a good size and perfect toy equipped. You could hear noise however

Room was warm, comfortable and clean with good lighting. Bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water, towels etc.
Bathroom a bit dated with showr over bath.
the bed could have been more comfortable.
