We were in Room 26, in a very spacious suite, situated across the car park, in a separate building to the main hotel. Large tv and sofa. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good. Cooked breakfast, a variety on the buffet and bottomless coffee/tea. Pleasant staff.
There are many bedrooms on offer and generally all are very well situated. We unfortunately drew the short straw with regard to our allocated room. So, to get a more positive experience, ensure you aren’t in room 24 or 26. These rooms are across the car park, are noisy & less accessible after 11pm (a separate entrance required due to a steel gate between hotel & room after 11pm). Room 26 only had one small window & roof lights. We experienced noise from trucks and were woken at 6.30am on SUNDAY morning, by clattering of metal trays from the butchery next door.
