This is the perfect place to stay in London. So close to many wonderful restaurants, stores, and historic sights. The rooms are large and lovely. The beds are so comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. Best of all, the staff see to your every need and they are so friendly. An added bonus was going over to the bar at No. 11, the sister hotel just around the corner.
I liked everything about this hotel. Well, I wish the lighting in the bathroom was brighter so I could do a better job of putting on makeup!

Overall the location of the hotel is the best. Beds are fine, shower is fine.
Upon arrival we were given a room in the BASEMENT- the "Chelsea Double" With a view / window straight into a stairwell for the staff to use while running with old glass bottles and laundry. That noise started at 7.55 am. After 1 night and many times asking to get another room we moved to a room 1 level up. But unfortunately that room was very small, no space for suitcases, because the only space was by the door. The rooms has old poor furnitures that resembles items that had nowhere else to be. Wifi is so poor and inconsistent. Do not order any roomservice as the hotel charge you for all kind of stuff, even bringing a water that should be free. We had 1 food of a breakfast menu and was charged the same as for a whole breakfast menu, and also charged for pick up of dirty plates. The staff is trying, but the politeness looks very forced. The price tag for our room was so NOT worth the money.
