Did not eat at the hotel

Very loud noise from kitchen night cleaning too 2 o'clock in the morning

The bedroom was beautiful The location was perfect for us. The cooked elment of breakfast was fantastic

The bathroom was looking tired looking and the shower needs upgrading, it is not powerful There needs to be some feather free pillows in the room also. Only 2 mugs in the room, no glasses for water and bottled water would of been nice. No hot chocolate despite being a family room. Fruit juices at breakfast were warm No pastries at breakfast and when asked the staff they said they had run out a while ago - they did make more but they werent ready until after we finished breakfast. The only fruit with the yoghurt was watermelon, no berries The tables were not set when we arrived at 0930 Hotel reception was never manned, the barman said to leave our bags in reception when we dropped them off but we were not happy with this so they were put in the office This hotel is expensive and parts are beautuful but there are things that dont live up to the price.

Location, biscuits, mirrors, pillows, decor, bed was comfy if a little narrow for a queen..

Dark rown stain marks on the hand towel, no hot water for shower, noisy, drunk bar guests, small room, creaky floors and doors, tiny window so room was dark. It was not worth £144 per night, not enough non decaf coffee, not enough plug points without unplugging the lamps. Advised a staff member of the issues but he didn’t really know what to say, just said it was an “old hotel so…” That doesn’t really explain why I had brown stains on my towels and some of the other things. I didn’t really think it an adequate response. Unfortunately there was one at the reception to speak to about the issues. The only people around were in the bar and they kept saying “we work in the bar so…”
