It was fabulous and Karen was a wonderful host, if we ever visit Torquay again, we know where we will be staying.

The property was like a home away from home with a warm atmosphere and an excellent hostess who was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was spectacular and the entire stay was priced excellently we would happily come back again.
There wasn’t anything not to like about our stay.

Our stay at The Southbourne Villa was an amazing experience. Karen is the best host we’ve ever had – she cares about every single detail and it really shows throughout the property.
The room was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything we could need. The breakfast lounge and living area are huge and beautifully decorated, with lovely little touches on every table: small trolleys for salt, pepper and sugar, framed pictures, and other accessories that make the place feel very warm and cozy.
Karen went above and beyond for my birthday. She left me a lovely gift of chocolates, decorated the breakfast table specially for me, and even put a candle there to make it extra special. She also gave us great recommendations for the best places to go in the evening, which really helped us make the most of our trip.
Breakfast was another highlight. Karen cooks everything herself, and it was amazingly good – we ate a lot and every dish was delicious.
This place comes totally recommended. We will definitely be coming back, as it was such a nice and welcoming place to stay. Wonderful location, very convenient.
