Our second time staying, and will stay again. Rooms were clean and functional, staff were friendly, helpful and very tolerant of a hyper 2 year old. Just round the corner from shops and the whole area felt very safe.

The hotel is a pub/hotel. The rooms are budget and looking a little tired. The mattress wasn't the best I have slept on but wasn't the worst either. The noise from the guest's in the next room was quite loud. The bathroom was ok but again is in need of a refurb.
Having said that, the staff were friendly. The breakfast was of good quality, with plenty on offer.
Overall for the price paid it was good value.
Room could do with refurbishment. And the noise in the adjoining room traveled through.

I was on the second floor which wasn't convenient for me climbing stairs because of my knee
