Ideal location, good restaurant menu, good breakfast menu, comfortable room, clean towels & room every day, friendly management & staff
I think that the gents toilet area by the door leading to the car park needs a complete revamp

A lovely hotel which feels very cosy and yet luxurious. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic service and food in the Rhubarb restaurant. Plenty of channels and apps available on the TV. And a great location-opposite the railway station and a short walk into town.

Nice large dining area and bar area and a separate quiet lounge to sit. Lovely outside area though not for the colder months! Love the Juliette balcony overlooking the canal.
Room smelled of some sort of air freshener all the time, even with balcony door open for several hours. Lots of squeaky floorboards, which disturbed sleep. Housekeeping could have been better.

Staff were friendly.
Bar area looks nice.
Area is lovely.
The ensuite was new.
Bedroom is dated decor with scuffs on walls. Electrical sockets are basically hanging out the wall in the bedroom.
Banging music started around 7am downstairs for some reason. When we went down for breakfast at 9am it had stopped.
