The breakfast was generous; it was actually one of the fewest economical hotels offering breakfast. The location was ideal as it was *very* close to Gare du Nord and to the Sacred Heart church in Montmartre (as the name of the hotel suggests). Staff were helpful and friendly.
In the neighbourhood, although relatively central, you could see people acting suspiciously, shouting for no apparent reason and selling drugs on the streets in broad daylight. Although that's not really the hotel's fault.

Really helpful staff, comfortable room, clean hotel and beautifully decorated.
Only downside is that there is no lift so getting bags up and down to the top floor was a bit of a work out. But that's no fault of anyone, fully aware it's an old building and a lift is not feasible.

Very good staff. Very clean.
We were placed at 5ft floor and there is no lift. We got a lot of language and we tried to request for a different room but did not allowed despite the appeal.
