All staff at reception and restaurant were super lovely. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar is cosy, food was good and drinks prices very reasonable.
Just lacking a few basic things, not enough hooks / rails for towels in bathroom and no vanity to put items on. An empty kettle that doesn't fit in the small hand basin to fill so need to use a glass or cup to fill. Rooms seem well thermally insulated but not well soundproofed, we were on lower floor 1st night with family above, every child's run, adult's footsteps, TV, voices and bathroom could be heard. we didn't quite get the early night we hoped and an earlier rise than expected! We requested a move up a floor for 2nd night, much better.

The kai was beautiful thanks to the chef and waiting staff.
No opportunity to cook own kai. My fault should have read that.
