About this lodge
Two fantastic living areas – an open plan lounge complete with dining table and eight chairs, woodburner, 42" television with freeview, netflix, movies, and pool table opening onto large verandah with mountain views leading to outdoor five seater spa. The kitchen is well equipped with large walk in pantry, fridge/freezer, microwave , nespresso coffee machine, wall oven and sink with plenty of bench and cupboard space. Complimentary continental breakfast with homemade crumpets and raspberry jam. A separate breakfast room with table, bench seats, and under stair fireplace with sunny morning aspect. Mezzanine sleeping loft of 1 Queen, 1 Double bed, 2 single beds, 1 king single and lounge area, additional small balcony mezzanine with one king single. Two separate bedrooms with one queen, king bed with ensuite, both with wall mounted 'smart' tvs for streaming netflix etc, there is plenty of room for your group. Check out at 10 am, and check in at 2pm. Log Lodge is only 10 minutes to Ohakune township, then 20 minutes up a forest road to Turoa ski field or 30 minutes around to Whakapapa ski field. A shuttle service, Ruapehu Connections, operates from Raetihi to Ohakune.

Absolutely loved our stay! Such a cozy, peaceful spot to unwind, and so close to the mountain for an easy trip to the snow. The homemade crumpets and raspberry jam were honestly to die for – the perfect touch to a perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back!”

What a beautiful property! even better than the pictures. Lots of outside space for dogs, impeccably clean and host was very friendly. Little added extras were a lovely touch. We would definitely come back here again! We were extremely happy with everything.
