I love the location especially, and if you’re lucky enough to score a room facing the arena, it is incredibly quiet with an amazing view. The hotel has exactly what you need with no unnecessary frills.
I’ve stayed here a few times, and am happy to say that there have been no big changes, so I am never disappointed.

Front desk was knowledgeable and courteous. We traveled during the heatwave in the hottest month of June. Elevator wasn’t working but they helped carry our bags.
No complimentary water in room or breakfast it was a budget hotel. Meaning coffee and water for purchase from a machine.

Location was terrific. Centrally located near a couple of metro lines and the Rue Moufettard area. Fabulous.
The showers were tragic. The tubs were too small for a bath, and there were no barriers or curtains for the handheld shower. It made for very uncomfortable bathing. The rest of the room was well-worn but clean. Not fancy, but you're not paying fancy prices.
