We ended up being upgraded to their sister hotel next door which was 3 stars. Still only paid city tax for 2 stars. Had a great room in with a balcony - seemed like only two rooms had a balcony, so very lucky. Great for people watching.
Location was great - walking distance to all the sights. Closest being Notre Dame (10 min walk).
Some good cafe/restaurants close by too.

Location is great. Feels safe at night, lots of things close by and some great restaurants and cafes walking distance. Decor is very cute and very French. The rooms have air con which works really well (was very hot when we were there). Beds were firm and comfy. Hotel feels fairly central. Highly recommend going to Ravello for some excellent Italian food.
Rooms are very small- particularly the single rooms. Not enough room for a suitcase to be on the floor anywhere unfortunately. The double rooms have a bit of extra space. We could only put our cases on the couch. One room we were given was on the 6th floor- the bed was broken and the room was extremely noisy- with a lot of mechanical and utilities noises- unliveable unfortunately- but luckily the hotel wasn’t booked out so they were able to move us to another room.
