We stayed in of the ocean view private rooms. Absolutely gorgeous location, so nice to be right on the waterfront listening to the sounds of the sea.
The room was cute, simple but had what we needed.
We were a little worried about being amongst the backpacker crowd as we were not on the island to party, but we were far enough from it that it didn't bother us during our stay. It did look a little rowdy when we arrived late on the first evening, but rooms are far enough away from the sound. Day times were nice and chill, people resting in hammocks, by be the pool etc.
Location is great, if you're organised you can get the very cheap local the bus right out the front or easily walk to Picnic Bay/ Nelly Bay in around 20 mins.
Its right on the beach which was so nice to walk along in the morning.
We wouldn't have chosen to stay in the towns after experiencing the island, this was the better location in my opinion.
A little more attention to detail would really elevate the experience.
Coffee pods and milk were a welcome addition we weren't expecting, however there wasn't quite enough supplied to cover all five mornings we had booked.
No hand soap was provided (empty hand pump).
Room would do well to have a few extra little mods like a small rail to hang up clothes and towels, and a little shelf or fold out luggage holder. We stayed four nights and bags and clothes had to live on the floor.
Kitchenette sink is the same as bathroom sink. It was fine, but a little odd.

Staff, Location and Cleanliness was amazing
The evening food available had potential but both burgers I purchased were very dry and average. Kitchen and Bar staff were on point however.

It's on the east side of the island, directly on the ocean and from here you can see some amazing sunrises
It's a party hostel full of kids who just get drunk and make a lot of noises until late at night, even close to the rooms.
It seems that the business is: making people drink as much as they can. I can't recommend it if you want to sleep.
