The location was excellent! Right in the centre of everything! Was staying for a concert at the AO arena and it’s super convenient for that. The staff were also so friendly and really helpful

It's location almost right at the centre of the city means that your not too far from anywhere in such a huge city. It's location on top of a pub also means that if your wanting to drink and eat then go out to the city you only have to go downstairs.
The reception staff are friendly and even the small rooms include fairly sized beds, a stand with clothing hangars at the top, available plugs, clean floor, walls and roof as well as a small bathroom with a shower and towels included.
The options for entertainment are limited as the TV only comes with certain channels, has no WiFi capability and doesn't take well to HDMI. Plus the fact that the TV is fairly high up so connecting any sort of media device even if the HDMI input was the correct size the cable may not be long enough in most cases.

Overall this is perfectly placed for the centre and of the town - very lively area, easy access to places to eat and bars. Hotel was OK and breakfast was great.
Room was not what we expect for the price - there was limited headroom for half of the room, the outside of the window was very dirty (see photo), the towels were small and although the website said 'no lift', we didn't expect to go up five flights of stairs, that got narrower the higher you went' to get to the room (we were on the top floor).
