room had no view but public areas, bar , terrace, and restaurant had lovely views of the Blue Mountains and over parts of Katoomba. Beds comfortable. Food in the restaurant good, and good choice for breakfast.
staff were very helpful but seemed to be very serious and hard to get to smile -not unfriendly but expressionless. This applied to almost everyone - the pianist was a notable exception. - I wondered if this was part of the staff training. It almost became a challenge for us to try to get anyone to crack a smile!

The room needs a maintenance. No phone to ring the reception if you need, and the kettle didn't work.
You can't connect your phone on the TV, and the breakfast wasn't that great. No many options for fruit, and the eggs were cold.
The price for staying there wasn't worth it.
