Very friendly staff and an excellent restaurant with a broad menu and great value for money. The colonial-era houses have a lot of character and are set in a beautiful garden. Lovely sunsets and a charming swimming pool. The free bikes are a nice way to explore the local area.
There is a mosque near by, and as the rooms have wooden shutters (and not glass) the sunrise call to prayer becomes an unscheduled wake up alarm if you don’t have good earplugs.

Staff were all lovely, the whole place is so quaint and picturesque, loved the house cats everywhere, lovely breakfasts and dinners, nice pool.
Only thing I didn't love was that our room was very noisy. Estate house 5 right by the driveway and reception so quite noisy. Nothing that they can do about it but I'd avoid thatcroom in future. Otherwise I'd happily stay there again and again.

Lovely peaceful garden and pool area

Helpful staff in office who organised last minute ferry tickets for us
No hot water on arrival and one of the bathrooms had to wait for following morning for team to come into fix it. No apology
Cleaning not perfect
Having said we wanted table for dinner on arrival there was none to be had on terrace when we appeared. Again no apology
