(+) There is ample parking. (+) It's a two story motor lodge, the staff were kind enough to upgrade our room on the ground floor. (+) It's relatively clean, spacious, and comfortable for a few nights in Rotorua. (+) Location of the mall is literally walkable across the road - Chemist Warehouse, gas, PakNSave, etc.
Nothing really - it's a Motor Lodge, not a resort or hotel, so adjust your expectations. My only concern was safety - the compound is rather open, so keep valuables out of sight, make sure to lock your doors and car. Nothing happened, but good to be vigilant.
