I consider this an ok choice mostly because it is right next to a nice park. The hotel is outdated and the facilities are basic. Street races around the hotel during the night interfere with a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was nice but in the evening there was a concert in the lobby with lots of sound until 22.30. The hotel has events going on all the time that we were there. The staff was friendly. The hymns very basic and only for 18+ year old so my kids got bored a bit without facilities for them.

The room was spacious and clean. Everything was fine. It was a bit stuffy in the room, and there was no AC nor a ceiling fan. Opening the window let in some fresh air. The breakfast was incredible. So many choices, and the food was really good. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was great, and not expensive. Loved that it was so close to the metro, and to the mall.
The first day of our stay, there was a strong sewage smell that we could smell throughout the building and even in our room. I don't know if work was being done in the area, or if it was the hotel, but it was unpleasant. The next day was better. Also, upon check-in, we were informed the rooms would have an additional cost because there was only one name on the reservation and since there were 2 people in the room, it would cost more for the 2nd person. In all the years I have used Booking.com, I have never had the issue before this hotel.

The beds are comfortable.
Very loud - be it from the street or within the hotel, you constantly hear the elevator at night. The reception also seems to be running some scam with the taxi drivers in front, DO NOT let them put the cost on your room, you will end up paying more than was confirmed later. We asked three times what the price and three times it was confirmed only to at the end pay more. I even refused to sign the paper for the taxi driver unless the exact number was there so that they couldnt forge it but to no avail. Also, they need to step up their cleanliness, they had no issue presenting us the suite with stains on the bedsheets . Also, they will harass you on Whatsapp as a form of their communication.
