The beautiful Oro Verde hotel

The hotel is very close to the airport. They van drivers are very punctual to pick you up from the airport . I loved the breakfast buffet.

Experience could have been better.

Staff was very nice. Restaurant choices were OK. Great that the hotel offered shuttle service to the airport.

The first room I was given smelled musty and while I don’t like to complain, I really had to ask for a different room because I couldn’t get used to the odor. It took a while but I was finally given a room that was satisfactory. Maybe if I was willing to pay for an upgraded room I wouldn’t have had the hassle.

Exceptional

Everything was lovely. The free shuttle service from the airport was great—you give them your flight info and a staff member waits at arrivals with a sign with your name on it. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, and the free welcome drink was appreciated after a long day traveling.

great hotel in a great central location

Great central location for exploring great massages by a lovely local lady great Ecuadorian potato soup right next to cable car pool lovely for a dip! staff very friendly and fab breakfast!

Very good

Very friendly staff. The food and the drinks were good. We used the pool and the gym. The gym could use some new equipment for a 5star hotel. But it got the job done. The bed was super comfortable. The shuttle to the airport left on time and was super helpful.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel for a short overnight stay between flights. Airport shuttle arrangements were excel

Excellent airport shuttle services, clean accommodations, good breakfast buffets and dinner selections.

Booked executive lounge but lounge was closed during our stay due to deep cleaning. There was no sign and had to contact reception who was unaware of its closure. Eventually room service provided snacks and beverages in our room. Servers in El Patio need more training. Requested bottled water for dinner, waited 15 minutes, watching later arrivals served earlier. Finally had to walk to server to get the water. There is clearly a lack of communication and training which when corrected will make this hotel a better place to stay for discerning travelers.

Satisfied Missionary

I enjoyed the safety of the hotel. Also, the food was amazing. The staff was polite and worked with our group. The free transportation to and from the airport was impeccable. The drive was very safe and cautious.

I didn't like that my key that control the lights was removed a couple of times, which deactivated my key to my room. I also couldn't get my television to switch to English. I just wished we had a microwave.

Secluded island in a hectic city

Nice hotel with all the modern comfort.

The bed was a bit small for a 5 star. They might have sold a single room for a double at a cheaper price.

The breakfast was first-rate. Also, the welcome drink was a great surprise. The room was very quiet - not something that can be said for many hotels in Guayaquil.
