We stayed here for two nights before catching our ferry to Wellington. The lady on Reception was so lovely and welcoming, and the room was very comfortable and quiet. I was actually impressed by the fact that along with the usual amenities there was a special facecloth marked “Make-Up” and a make-up remover pad provided. Not all motels do this, and it may sound like a small thing but I thought it was a helpful, sensible and thoughtful touch. Our two days here were very relaxing – sincere thanks to the lady on Reception, and to the owner of Aldan Lodge.!

I arrived late and all the details for my room were on the reception door - perfect!! So easy. Thanks for being so thoughtful and making it easily
