A luxurious stay! We stayed in the villa with the private pool and were blown away with how good it was. The villa was spacious and comfortable and the private pool and outdoor shower were a fantastic treat. The pool isn't full of chemicals so it's better for sensitive skin and it's in a lovely setting so we enjoyed watching squirrels and birds above us as we lounged at the pool. There are doors you can close and lock between the pool and the walkways around the villa to make it feel even more private too.
The breakfast options were good and made to order and the staff were always on hand if we needed anything. They even managed to organise a fantastic tour guide at short notice for us.
The bed was so comfortable (best sleep we had in Indonesia) and they came and lit anti mosquito incense around the villa for us each evening which smelled amazing and was a lovely touch.
The location is quiet and only a 20 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. There is a steep hill at one point but it's quite short.
It would have been good to have a safe.

Lovely Balinese style resort, small and friendly with staff that could not do enough for you. Room size was large, plenty of anti-mozzie provisions in the room. Location was great to explore the little lanes, walk the Ridge walk or even walk into central Ubud. Loads of restaurants, bars and spas nearby. On the whole very good value for the price we paid
Rooms and outside bathroom were a little tired. The pool shared between our rooms was a little cloudy on arrival but did clear up over the week - the main pool was very close by, was quiet and had no issues so this did not affect our stay.

Staff were happy to help.
I booked the location of this hotel specifically for peace and quiet. There is currently construction work (very loud jack-hammering) next door, so plans of relaxing days reading by the pool were quickly dispelled. I spent more time in the room with noise cancelling headphones in, or booking day beds elsewhere.
Really disappointed the construction noise was not noted anywhere on the website or booking.com hotel description.
The library is just a book case.
The spa is just a room, with only 2 types of massages offered.
There is no mini bar.
There are no longer cocktails served despite a cocktail menu in the room.
There were times of each day when there was no water for a shower.
Some staff were little too insistent on offering day tours, sending WhatsApp messages.
